R.C. Sparks Obituary

R.C. "Cliff" Sparks, 89, a retired movie projector operator, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2005, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimer's Research Center.

R.C. "Cliff" Sparks was born Aug. 14, 1915, in Fort Worth. He was active in Union Local 330 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Lakeside.

Survivors: Wife, Mary Sparks of Fort Worth; daughter, Kathleen Gover of Fort Worth; son, Richard C. Sparks II of California; brothers, Leon Sparks and Bill Sparks; sisters, Claudia Modena MacFarland, Nona Peterson and Norma Spann; five granddaughters; and one grandson.
