Ray Isaac Obituary

Ray Isaac, 87, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2002 in Bedford.

Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Florence Holiness Church, 1880 Florence Road in Keller. Burial: Bourland Cemetery in Keller. The Rev. Carl Page, the Rev. Ronnie Baker and the Rev. Terry Bowling will officiate.

Pallbearers: Mike Isaac, Cole Isaac, Chuck Isaac, Wade Isaac, Kirk Cox, Wesley Jester. Honorary pallbearer: Jay Sharp.

Ray was born in LaFlore County, Okla., on April 23, 1914, to William and Ollie Isaac. He was a member of the Choctaw Indian tribe. Ray retired from Burrus Mills Cargill after approximately 30 years. He pastored Florence Holiness Church in Keller for 38 years, in addition to three other pastorates.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Edward Lee; three grandchildren, Sharon Y. Isaac, Kelly R. Jester and D. Shawn Isaac; one brother; and two sisters.

Survivors: Wife, Miley of Keller; sons, Billy Ray Isaac and wife, Janet of Keller, David Isaac and wife, Beverly of Houston, Greg Isaac of Fort Worth; daughters, Betty Jacobs and husband, Jack of Keller, Barbara Jester and husband, Jody of Keller, Tricia Hight and husband, Joey of West Plains, Mo.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; five stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; brothers, Gene Williams of Keller and Jimmy Williams of Keller; sisters, Opal Jester of Saginaw and Dorothy Jo Pendley of Muskogee, Okla.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Dear Family, I want you to know how much I appreciate all you did for my Father,(Gerald) especially when he was a young man. Your love and example of God's love in your lives had an impact on my Father's life. This is a gift no one can ever take away from us. Thank you for leading him to God. I Love You All!!!!!!
