Reginald Payne-Fails Obituary

Reginald Mandrale Payne-Fails, 26, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 29, 2007.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors: Sons, DeAdrian R. Fails, Reginald M.D. Fails II and Demitrez T. Fails; daughter, Rania Fails; mother, Sherri Payne; father, Reginald B. Fails; sisters, Keandra Dean, Marsha Lindor, Minniece Fails, Teareia Fails and Appolonia Flemmings; brother, Antonio Flemmings; fiancee, Danielle Nicole Johnson; grandmothers, Helen Payne and Ernestine Fields; and grandfathers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Hello! It´s been 17yrs and life still pushes on. Though the pain and reality of it all remains. Over time you just learn how to live life without you here. It´s never easy. You grieve for eternity. However, I´m learning as I go. Nothing is forever, and the way through life is through death. I will never understand the why. Somehow I´ve manage to get me a relationship with God and I pray for understanding and guidance every day. I let the Lord lead me because that´s the only way. As I continue this life without you. I carry a burden that weighs heavy on me sometimes. I pray for healing and hope in the process God heals my heart, because he knows I need it. I can´t say a part of me left with you the day you left. Because all of me died that day. I´m learning to pick up the pieces of where we l left off. If only I knew it would be your last day here on earth. We could have spent the day differently. As the years past by I'm always thinking of you. I keep you in my dreams and I know your letting me know that your still protecting me. I miss your laughs and jokes. Things aren't the same since you been gone. I know you reached a better place, but still I'll give the world to see your face. I miss you but try not to cry as time goes by. Hey reggie just found out why u never came looking for me like u always did since we were kids and my heart dropped finding this out I miss u so much and to ur family sorry for the lost and I know its been rough for the kids and now he's in the best of hands looking and protecting all of y'all.
