Richard Mooneyham Obituary

Richard E. Mooneyham, 55, a self-employed paint contractor, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2002 in Arlington.

Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Pinecrest Cemetery in Calhoun City, Miss. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Memorials: The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the American Liver Foundation.

Richard Mooneyham was born Dec. 12, 1946 in Vardaman, Miss. He was a graduate of Calhoun City High School and spent his adult life in Gulfport, Miss., and Fort Worth, Texas. He touched the lives of all who knew him and he will be greatly missed by many, including the friends he made as a friend of Bill W.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Mooneyham.

Survivors: His son, James Mooneyham and wife, Amanda; granddaughter, Samantha; three stepdaughters, Lori Favre of Gulfport, Miss., Lisa Burge of Bogalusa, La., and Jennifer Star Brown of Killeen; four stepgrandchildren, Justin, Anthony, Nicholas and Taylor; mother, Hazel Huffman of Arlington; father and stepmother, Richard and Marie Mooneyham of Calhoun City, Miss.; brother, Mark Mooneyham of Oxford, Miss.; sister, Alice Johnson; sister-in-law, Jo Hollis-Hays of Arlington; four nephews; four nieces; and two great-nieces.
