Pearland, Texas - Richard Perry Isel, age 68, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, in Pearland, Texas. He was born November 5, 1953, in Fort Worth to Jack and Grace Isel. Rick grew up in Mansfield, Texas with his four siblings â€" Susan, Jack, Nancy, and Debi. After graduating from Mansfield High School, he received a football scholarship to TCU, where he graduated with his Bachelor's in Business in 1975. He worked as an oil and gas landman for many years. He had two daughters named London and Larkin who he loved more than anything. In his prime, Rick loved football, family, carpentry, projects around the house, and the riverâ€"especially the Comal. More than anything, Rick wanted to help others and was always trying to find new ways to fulfill that desire. Family and friends are invited to Unity of Wimberly, 455 White Wings Rd., Wimberly, Texas from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022, to celebrate Rick Isel.

We were so sad to hear of Rick´s early passing. Bill and Rick were close at TCU but he´d lost touch. Blessings to his children and family, he was so sweet!

I remember Ricky as a cute kid with blonde hair and lived across from the Allen family. I babysat the Allen kids when I was 15 and Ricky and Debbie would come over and play outside with us. He was fantastic person. I also knew him and the other Isel kids from school. All were good people.
