To Mrs. Colburn, Bobby and Brian: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I remember how welcoming all of you were when I came to this country. Your Dad always had a smile on his face, and truly he was a wonderful man. God Bless You All.

Emmy, Brian & Bobby
I am so sorry to hear of Bob's death, I am so glad that we were able to see him over the summer. You all hold such a special place in my heart and always will. You are all in my prayers at this time. Allow God to hold you close to Him and carry you through. I will always remember Bob with a smile on his face. What precious memories I have growing up on Glynn Oaks and so many stories to tell my kids.
In Christ love,

Dear Emmy and Family,
We were saddened to hear that, our dear neighbor and friend, is no longer here with us..But during the time he was, he was a joyful addition in our lives and will always be..And now we sing, What a glorious day it will be, for us all, as The Roll Is Called Up Yonder we will be there, seeing Bob again, some sweet day..
Below is a poem which we were given when our daughter, Vicki, also went home to be with the Lord. It was so comforting and assuring to us as we read it..And helped us to accept Gods calling her to come all the way thru Heavens Gates..We faithfully trust Gods time and His love for us all, as we are accepting His plan... And knowing that " to be absent in body is to be in the presence of and with the Lord.." I do hope this poem will be of some help to you all as well..
IF YOU COULD SEE WHERE I HAVE GONE
If you could see where I have gone, the beauty of this place,
And how it feels to know you 're home to see the Savior' s face.
To wake in peace and know no fear, just joy beyond compare,
While still on earth you miss me, yet you wouldn't want me there...
If you could see where I have gone.
If you could see where I have gone, had made the trip with me,
You would know I didn't go alone, the Savior came with me.
When I awoke He was by my side, and reached down
His hand and said," Hurry, Child, you're going home to a grand and
glorious land."
Don't worry over those you love, for I'm not just with you,
And don't you know with you at home, they'll long to be here too........
If you could see where I have gone.
If you could see where I have gone and see what I have been shown,
You'd never know another fear or ever feel alone,
You'd marvel at the care of God, His hand on every life,
and realize He really cares, and bears with us each strife.
That he weeps when one is lost, His heart is filled with pain.
But, Oh, the joy when one comes home, a child is born again.....
If you could see where I have gone..
If you could see where I have gone, could stay awhile with me,
Could share the things that God has made, to grace eternity,
But, no, you couldn't bear to walk earth's paths, once Heaven
was your home....... If you could see where I have gone.
If you could see where I have gone, you'd know we'll meet someday.
And though I'm parted from you now, that I'm just away.
So thank you friends, and thank you family, for living for the Lord.
For teaching others to love Him, to trust Him and His word.
And now that I'm home with Him, secure in every way,
I'm waiting here at Heaven's door to greet you some sweet day.
Our dear friends, know that Our Love and Prayers are with you,

Bob was a really good neighbor and friend that we will never forget. The good times we spent watching our families grow up will always be cherished.Bob was always ready to help you no matter what. He was the early riser in the neighborhood--walking and picking up cans--maybe washing his car/pick-up--then off to play ball.
We cherish the thirty plus years we had Bob as a good neighbor.
Our sympathy to the entire family.
