Robert Vaughan Obituary

Robert Ellsworth Vaughan died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Acres, Hip Pocket Theatre.

Memorials: Donations to the Hip Pocket Theatre, in Robert's name, are suggested.

Robert had the soul of an artist. He wrote beautiful poetry and was a ceramics artist. He was a carpenter by trade and a philosopher at heart. He lived as he loved with his whole being. Kind and generous, he gave all he had to those lucky enough to have known him.

"We miss you more every day. Few daughters have been so blessed. I love you more with every breath."

-Mimi.

"I believe that what you sing to the clouds will rain upon you when your sun has gone away. And I believe that what you dream to the moon will manifest before you rest another day. So stay strong and sleep long when you need to let the mornin' take you right on through the day. When you find you're at the end of the road just lift your head up, spread your wings and fly away."

-Michael Franti

Survivors: Daughter, Mimi Kayl-Vaughan; son, Leland David Vaughan; mother, Sue Walker; father, Byron Vaughan Jr.; brothers, David Vaughan and Scott Vaughan; sister, Teresa Vaughan; and many, many dear friends, family and a lifetime of loves.
