Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials: May be made to the North Richland Hills Church of Christ Charities, 6300 N.E. Loop 820, North Richland Hills, Texas.
He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. Roy was a welder and worked for Bell Helicopter for 52 years. He was a saint, always had a kind word and helped many people, but the most important thing in his life was his family. Roy was a quite short man, but was a giant among men. He enjoyed motorbikes, coached baseball and was a Scout leader. He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Ham Jr.; and sisters, Harriet, Mary Lou and Beverly.
Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Diane Ham; children, Daniel Ham and wife, Lisa McKee Ham, Roane McLaughlin and husband, Wayne, Debbie Gibson and husband, Marvin; grandchildren, Jared, Chris, Angie, Caleb, Marty and Jacob; sisters, Arlene and Cora; and brothers, Raymond, Robert and Jerry.
