Ruby Dell Ward passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. Service: 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, May 13, at Russell Hall, 5710 Jacksboro Hwy. in Fort Worth. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Breast Cancer Foundation or Cancer Research. Ruby, born Jan. 29, 1932, will be dearly remembered and missed as an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. We will always cherish the spirit and love that she exemplified. As she passed, surrounded by her loving family, the Lord painted a rainbow for us in her memory. This is something that we will always cherish in our hearts as a last gift from Ruby. Survivors: Spouse of 62 years, Barry Dale Ward; children, Jana Ward Peck, Robin Ward Kratky, Jamison Ward and Tracy Ward Robertson; grandchildren, Macy Red, Loni Green, Justin Ward, Katy Cook, Jeremy Kratky, Jamie Lynn Kratky, Jared Kratky, Tiffany Robertson and Jason Robertson; and 10 great-grandchildren.
