"God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best."

My condolences to the Marcuse Family-Our prayers go out to you and your family at this time. May the comfort of God help you during this difficult time

Hello Barbara,
I am Donney Matlock Wohlert. I live in St. Louis, Mo.I graduated with you and Rudy in !942, from North Side High.
I am so sorry to hear about Rudy. I pull the Obits up every day on computer.Dorothy Scott did call to tell me. She graduated with us
You and Rudy certainly have a wonderful family. Sounds like you had a very interesting life. Added a lot to society. No matter where you go, you will never find people like the North Side People we were raised with.I am so happy I was growing up at that time.
You have such wonderful memories to live with. I find they keep you going.
my prayers are with you and family.

To the family of Rudy Marcuse: I was saddened to read of Rudy's passing. I knew him in the opera chorus in 71-72. He had a wonderful sense of humor and when he spoke up, who could disagree with that wonderful bass voice? He was a very sweet gentleman. May light perpetual shine upon him.

My father, George McKinnon, worked for the Marcuse Company prior to his retirement and death in June 1964 just before his 65th birthday. Mr. Marcuse served as pallbearer at his funeral. I didn't know the extent of their friendship, but have always appreciated his concern at our time of grief. Please know that others care.

Dear Barbara and family,

How sorry I am to hear of Rudy's passing. He was such a lovely man, and even after 40-plus years, I can still hear that great laugh. I was the opera chorus baby, and you were the opera chorus "parents". Thank you for all the lovely memories. You are in our prayers.
