Sandra Carter Obituary

Sandra Carter
May 21, 1944 - March 5, 2022
Saginaw, Texas - Sandra Jo Carter passed away peacefully on March 5, 2022 in Saginaw TX.
Sandra was born in 1944 in Fort Worth TX to Joe and Mary Lou Newton, and lived in Saginaw on the family dairy farm for most of her life. Sandra worked for Pier 1 Imports in Fort Worth for 30 years in the payroll department.
After retiring from Pier 1 Imports, Sandra enjoyed bowling, quilting, jigsaw puzzles, mystery books and shows, card games (she very rarely lost a game) and spending time with her family and friends. She always cared for others before herself and had the ability to laugh at adversity in difficult times.
Sandra is survived by her husband Rusty Carter, her lifelong friend Paula Fowler, her children Michelle (Russell) Carter, Joey Carter and his wife Diana, her grandchild Daniel, and two sisters, Yvonne Flippo and Shirley Martin.
A memorial celebration and reception will be held at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens (BRIT- 1700 University Dr., Fort Worth TX 76107; Common Room) on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2:00- 4:00 pm.
