Sara Mizuno Obituary

Sara Midori Mizuno, 12, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.

Sara was a student at Cross Timbers Middle School in Grapevine. She enjoyed listening to music and never missed a good meal.

Sara was beloved by her entire family and touched everyone she came in contact with. She was an angel on Earth and will be greatly missed, but her family is glad that she is now with the Lord in heaven.

Sara was preceded in death by both great-grandfathers, great-grandmother and one grandfather.

Survivors: Her mother, Lorrie Newth; father, Kenji Mizuno; sister, Shina Mizuno; grandmother, Darlene Wood; grandfather, William Parks; grandmother, Hasue Mizuno; great-grandmother, Mildred Scoggins; and aunt, Darla Parks.

I had the pleasure of knowing Sara briefly through summer school and her visit to my classroom last year with Carla Pack's class. She was truly an angel and I pray for the continual peace of knowing she is with our Lord and Savior; healthy and whole. Bless your family.
