Sara "Bebe" Snowden FORT WORTH--Sara Burrow Renaud Snowden died Saturday, March 31, 2018. SERVICE: There will be no service and the burial will be private. Sara, known to many as "Bebe," was born Nov. 21, 1948, in Austin, Texas, to Zuma and Charles Renaud. She grew up in Fort Worth and attended Crestwood Elementary, Arlington Heights Elementary, Stripling Junior High and graduated from Nolan High School in 1966. She later received an Associate of Arts degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. In the early '70s, she began her career in the music business working for Rowland Records. She then moved to Pickwick International, a distribution company, and then JEM Records, which became Music Distributors, Inc.(MDl). Bebe was a strong, magnanimous woman who touched the lives of many. She was deeply loved and respected. The family would like to express our appreciation with love to Mary Howell and her amazing caregivers who so lovingly cared for Bebe these last few months. SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband, James H. Snowden III; her siblings, sister, Ellen Renaud Dast, and her brothers, Louis, David and Chris Renaud; cousin, Sara Renaud, who was a daughter to her; as well as her stepchildren, Laura Snowden Adam, James H. Snowden IV and Shannon L. Snowden. She had six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.
