Sarah Brister Obituary
Service: A memorial celebration will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Highland Meadows Christian Church, Colleyville.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made online to www.CityPetRescue.com, in Sarah's name.
Sarah was born Nov. 25, 1977, in Brownwood. She had a passion for learning, and loved the mixed sounds of music, friends' laughter and barking dogs. Sarah will be sorely missed, but forever alive in the hearts of those touched by her light.
She was predeceased by her birth father, Smokey Brister, in 1985.
Survivors: Her mother and father, Merris and Mike Doud; sister, Heather Brister; and a large, eclectic assortment of animal and human friends.

Sarah's smile and humor put a bright light in my heart forever. She had a pure soul that meant well to every living thing around her. I miss her and have the deepest respect and sympathy for all her close friends and family.

I'm saddened by the fact that you are no longer here on Earth. You had so much love and passion in you, that you shared with everyone around you. You could make anyone laugh, and feel loved at any give time. I miss terribly. My heart is broken for you, your family, and your many friends.
