Happy Halloween brother. I feel like you have gotten me through a lot lately, and now I need you more than ever. I look up to the stars each night when I take the dogs out, and I feel like you're there with me. I miss you something terrible. They're going to take this off here soon so I guess I'm going to have to start keeping a journal. Just keep watching over us...that's helpful. I love you, man.

I've been thinking about you a lot since you've been gone. You were so smart and logical. I always walked away from you feeling a little smarter than before because you had taught me something new. Well, here we are 3 months after your death and no closet to any answers...that's the hardest part. I think of you every day. I miss you terribly. There are Superman shirts being worn by many people at work and they make me think of you. It's hard. I wish I had that shirt of yours to memorialize. Anyway. I have this idea in mind of a way for your siblings to be close to you. I think they'll like it (shh, don't tell them. It's a secret ;))...I know we weren't that close in the end, but man it sure was nice to hear your voice. Did I mention that I miss you? I'm so mad and frustrated. Some days I just want to explode and no one around here can help. Talking to you helps, though. Well, enough for now. I'll talk to you soon. Thanks for listening...I love you brother.

It's almost Christmas and I'm wishing you were here to give me another box of Dominoes...lol...I miss you so much Shane. I know you're not suffering anymore but I am selfish I guess I wish I had one more day with you. Just to hug your neck and to tell you I love you brother. Just when I think the tears have all dried up I think of you or something from when we were kids or a holiday together and the tears start again. Just thought I'd stop in to say hi. This is my only way of chatting with you except through the messages in the sky. I was outside on Wednesday night and the moon was big and beautiful. Surrounding the moon were clouds that looked like an eagle. It was so peaceful to feel your presence. I just want you to know that I'm fine. I had a really good cry on Thanksgiving night and I feel better. I miss you dearly, but knowing that I have you in my heart helps. I love you. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas.
