Shane Weatherbee

Shane Weatherbee, 40, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, in Graham. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastside Church of Christ. Interment: Pioneer Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Morrison Funeral Home. Memorials: Young County Humane Society, 120 Craig St., Graham, Texas 76450; or Eastside Church of Christ, 705 Indiana St., Graham, Texas 76450. Shane was born Dec. 7, 1973, in Graham to Darrell Weatherbee and Lana Forehand Weatherbee. He graduated from Graham High School and received a B.S. in industrial engineering from Tarleton State University. Shane was vice president of Weatherbee Real Estate and Construction, Inc. and was a very active member of the community. Shane was a past president of the Chamber of Commerce, board of directors, a member of the Rotary Club of Graham, Texas Realtor and Eastside Church of Christ and served in numerous civic activities. He was a member of Graham Country Club and was an avid golfer, and loved trap shooting and pistol competition. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garland and Joyce Forehand and Flo Weatherbee, and uncles, Paul Weatherbee and Norman Evans. Survivors: Parents, Darrell and Lana Weatherbee of Graham; sister, Shana Wolfe and husband, Troy, of Graham; nephew, Easton Shane Wolfe of Graham; niece, Lexi Ann Wolfe of Graham; grandfather, MK Weatherbee of Graham; aunts, Reba Fox and husband, James, Janice Evans and son, Brandon Evans; uncle, Glenn Weatherbee and wife, Jane; several loving cousins and friends; and shelter adopted dog, Lucky.
