Sherrie Stoecker

November 14, 1963 - January 10, 2025

Hurst, Texas - Sherrie Stoecker, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, in Keller, Texas. Sherrie was born on November 14, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her family moved to Texas in her early years, and she spent her childhood residing in Arlington. Sher was a member of the last graduating class from the original Bowie High School before it was closed in 1982 and later attended the University of Texas at Arlington, earning a degree in Urban Affairs.

In her youth, Sher participated in Dance for many years, becoming quite a skilled ballerina. She was also involved in school cheerleading and was a member of the Texas Rangers Six Shooters squad, who cheered on the Rangers at the original Ranger Stadium.

Sherrie worked the majority of her professional career as a Realtor, predominately employed by home builders in the North Texas area. With her wit, charm, personality, determination, and ability, Sher achieved great success in her professional endeavors.

In her spare time, Sherrie loved to have fun in any capacity. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Sherrie always had a trick up her sleeve and greatly enjoyed laughing and making the most out of life.

Sherrie was a doting daughter and loved her family BIG. She was loyal and protective of her loved ones, both family and friends.

Sher is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Helen Ross, stepfathers Bud Reagor and Olen Berry, uncle Bob Ross, and cherished pets Kitty Boo and Beamer.

Sherrie is survived by her mother, Judy Berry of Southlake, brother John Stoecker of McKinney, brother Stephen Stoecker of Grand Prairie, brother Mark Stoecker and wife Jennifer of Mansfield, and nephew and niece, John Oliver Stoecker and Jules Stoecker. Sher also leaves behind her precious friend Karen O'Leary, among other special friends.

Funeral services were held on January 17, 2025.
