Dear Family of Shonna,

A few years ago, when I was new to the State, I had the blessing of working occassionally with Shonna. She was one of the kindest and most pleasant people I have ever met. I always looked forward to speaking with her and I could tell she really enjoyed her job. I was sad to learn of her illness, and when she left the agency, there was a great void. I will never forget her wonderful spirit.
May God bless and comfort your family at this time of sadness and lift up your spirits to know she is with the Lord in Heaven.

Jim and Family, I met Shonna a little over 9 years ago, but little did I know that I had met a very beautiful and special friend. I remember how I use to make her laugh so hard, that she would actually cry. She'd say B please stop! And little did she know the sounds of her laughs all ways made my day. I know that one day soon, we will meet again, not as strangers, but as enternal friends.

Shonna & I were in the same caseworker basic training class in 1975. She was a great caseworker then, and remained excellent when she returned to state employment. She will be missed.
