Irene,

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Steve. I know it must have been so difficult.
It has been so many years since I have seen you, you may not remember me, but you have been on my mind over the years. In fact I was talking about you just days ago to a friend of mine, and telling her how wonderful and memorable you are for being so kind-hearted and sweet. You have never left my thoughts, even almost twenty years later.
You are the sweetest person I have ever met, and I am sorry for the loss you have suffered.

In case you weren't aware, you have been a part of our family since those crazy days in the early eighties. Nani has kept us apprised of your life from your hop to Paris through your marriage and the birth of your gorgeous children. Irene and Brandon, Bobbie, my dear Cynthia and family, Carol and family, Scott and family: I am so saddened at the passing of such a gentle, caring and loving man. Before I ever met him, I listened with awe to the stories my best friend, Cynthia, told me about her dear older brother, Steve. I knew before I ever met him that he was a special man. When I met him in Paris at Cynthia and Jean-Pierre's wedding, I knew all the adulation Cynthia felt for him was well-founded and well-deserved. He seemed to me a beautiful man, a doting and loving husband and father, a supportive and devoted son and brother. My heart is with all of you, his loving family. I have been so fortunate to have had a chance to cross paths with the Cornish family....my thanks to all of you. I wish you all the strength and hope you need rise to many new days to come. I had not seen or thought of Steve in many years until I was forwarded this obituary by Todd Reisdorfer. In high school I took a lot of grief, especially our senior year at WHHS. I remember Steve writing one of the kindest things in my annual that year. I'm sad that it took his passing to jar my memory about how supportive and genuinely kind he was.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

Irene&Brandon,

I just found out this morning(Sept.1)about Stephen passing away.

My Mother called and told me that she came across Stephen's name and she ask me if I knew him and I said

sure I know him, I went to school with him and I responded by saying why what happened to him and she said that Stephen had passed away.

Irene,I was so shocked when she said that I could not believe it.

I graduated in 1981 from WHHS with Stephen. I am so sorry that he has left you and all of us, but we know that God will take good care of him each and every day to come.

This is for Brandon.I am so sorry that your Daddy is gone from you but you hold your head up high and keep on going, just like your Dad would do.Bless your heart and you take care of your Mother. We love you all very much and please take care. Sorry for your loss. May GOD Bless you all.

Love always.
