Dear Dick and Maureen,
David and I are so sorry to hear about Stephen. It was such a pleasure to meet him and you two again after the loss of my dad. Your family brought such warmth, laughter and a connection for me that I needed. I can remember when we all went out that evening after dad's memorial looking for the Big Cross that mom had lit in his rememberance and how cold it was. Being outside with everyone looking up at the cross is a memory that I will never forget. I know that you must also have some unforgetable memories with Stephen as that what families are all about.

Dear Dick, Maureen and David---It is with such sorrow we heard of your loss of dear Stephen. He was so kind to make the trip with both of you to Earl's memorial 2 years ago and for that our family will always be grateful. I am glad Paige and Jill had the chance to know their cousin from Texas. I remember the boys Stephen and David when you visited us here on Pioneer Dr. asd well as Miller St. as little boys but so nice to know Stephen as a young man. All of our hearts are heavy for your loss so unexpected. Just know we keep you in our prayers and thoughts---May God's love and peace surround each of you as you walk through these dark days.
I have a feeling that Earl and Stephan are enjoying some good chuckles and telling old Nelson family stoies---and we all know---there are many stories to tell! May they both have the peace they so richly deserve.
Our love and friendship always,
Connie (Earl) Nelson Bean family, Paige, Blake and Jill and their families.

Steven will always be in our hearts and memories. I never took the time to know Steven as a father, but i knew him as a good friend and saw him as a great brother to David. My heart goes out to Richard and Maureen and you will be in my family's prayers.
