Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel. Burial: Rose Lawn Cemetery in Seagoville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Steve was born Nov. 20, 1949, in Valley Head, Ala. He was a beloved husband, father and grandpa. Steve was a great guy and a friend to everyone he ever met. He was a true patriot who loved his country and was a NASCAR fan.
Survivors: Wife of 13 years, Linda Harrell of Hurst; sons, Lee Hicks of North Richland Hills and David Hicks of Arlington; daughters, Denise Phillips and Brandy Johnson, both of Grand Prairie; sister, Mildred Johnson of Tucson, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren.
