Memorial Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2920 Azle Ave., Fort Worth. A rosary will precede the Mass at 9:30 a.m.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Fort Worth.
Thelma was born Nov. 9, 1908, in Kentucky. She married Robert Kupper in 1928 and had two children, Gloria and James. They moved to Texas in 1943 and to Fort Worth in 1962, where she became a longtime member of St. Thomas Parish. In recent years she was a long-distance member, with the parish always being close to her heart.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Monahan; husband, Robert Kupper; sister, Alice Ryan; and grandson, Robert Kupper.
Survivors: Daughter, Gloria Murphy and husband, Roger, of Cedar Creek Lake; son, Dr. James Kupper and wife, Adriana, of Cocoa, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and six nephews.
