Mr. Mayfield was a ver sweet and helpful person. I had him for career investigations in 8th grade. I remember that was my favorite class b/c he made everything so fun and interesting. I had my best friend in that class and we were very very loud, but he never yelled. He was very understanding and patient with us. You and your family are in my prayers. God Bless.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I had Mr. Mayfield for Career Investigations in 8th grade. A test we did then gave me insight as to what to do with the rest of my life, and I am working in a career field the test results showed I should work in. I am very grateful for Mr. Mayfield's patience, and his way of motivating us in class. He was one of my favorite teachers, and will be missed greatly.

Mr. Mayfield was in the same hospital as my father in Houston. My father died the day after Mr. Mayfield on Friday the 17th. In conversation with the Mayfield family we learned that the circumstances were all too much alike. To all who read this please strongly consider becoming a donor. May God bless Mr. Mayfield and my father.

I'm sure your family will not know me but my daughter Katie Aikens had Mr. Mayfield at BMS about 6 or so years ago. He was a very special person and he treated her that way also. She had a lot of emotional challenges and he was very caring and sensitive to her. I know he will be missed by all and am sorry for your families loss. You all are in our prayers!

Mr. Mayfield was my 6th grade homeroom teacher and career investigator teacher in 8th grade. He was a great person with a big heart. I am now going into my 5th year at Texas A&M in College Station and have seen him off and on when I would go back to Fort Worth. I saw him in January this year at Ridgmar Mall and caught up a little. I will miss him very much. He was a very special person with a very kind soul.
