Tessa,
I know you probably don't remember me, but that's okay, I wanted to write you anyways. It's ironic to me how when trials and tribulations arise, that's when we seem to doubt our faith and turn to other things, when in the Christian reality, those are the times we should rely on God the most. I believe you have a good head on your shoulders, and a Mighty God on your side and so I know you and your family will be okay, but I continue to pray for your comfort, strength, and future peace of mind. I joined the Air Force after high school, and didn't look back, but now hardly a day goes by when I don't wonder where my peers ended up. At least I can believe that one of them ended up in the right place. Life is so short that sometimes we concern ourself too much with it, rather than what is to come. I pray that you would seek the Lord fervently and pray without ceasing and get into His word so that He can speak to you and comfort you. Jesus is the Rock and upon Him you can stand. Trust the Lord, He WILL help you and your family through this, and I, among many others, will be on my knees in prayer for you Tessa. Like I said, you may not remember who I am, but at least you know that there are Christians out there who love you and share your love of Christ (although only recently were my eyes opened to the Gospel). He's watching over you, and so is your brother. He's at peace now and in a better place, a place flowing "with milk and honey." (Numbers 14:8)
Loving you as my own sister,
Brandon Howland (Allison) <> <

The dearest and sweetest memories I have of my life are with Travis, Tessa, Laura and Dan. They were indeed some of the happiest times in my life. Memories of Ninja Turtles and two young boys who never had anything else on their minds other than having a great time with huge smiles on their faces all along the way. Travis hunting for crawdads covered head to toe in mud and then no clean shoes to wear for school. I cherish those memories and we hold you forever in our hearts. Our hearts are very heavy but I know we were blessed to have you in our families life. We will never forget your laugh and huge smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. God bless you Travis.
To Laura, Tessa and Dan,
May God watch over you and bless you with his strength and love.
We love you

I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with and know Travis. He was a great person and made every day that we worked together so much fun. He had a great love for life and passion for the things he loved...this daughter, his friends and just living life to the fullest. I will always remember his great big smile that never failed to brighten my day. Much love and sympathy to his family and friends. He will be missed.

I thank God for the memories I have of Travis when he was a little tyke. I had the priviledge of keeping him and his twin sister, Tessa while their parents went on a vacation. I wish I could have been with him while his parents went on this latest vacation in June 2004. When he was little it amazed me how smart he was particularly with electronics. We will all miss him deeply. Nana

Travis,
I have been very good friends with Travis for the past 2-3 years and in fact hung out with him and was around him for the majority of the days I have known him. He was always smiling and he was always so much fun to be around, which is why he had so many friends. Even when I knew he was down he never showed it, he was always still smiling and cracking jokes. He was never not surrounded by people, and I was one of the people always around him. I moved to North Carolina a few months ago and when one of my friends from home told me about this I just could not believe it. Half of my photo albums are filled with pictures of him. I know his daughter Kyrstyn and when she gets older she will look just like him, she has his lips and nose. God bless his family, Tessa, and especially his daughter who will never get to really know him. Its hard to believe someone I knew so well, with so much life is gone. I will pray every night that God is watching over him and taking care of Travis.

As one of his youth travel hockey coaches, I was afforded the opportunity to teach and learn from a wonderful young man. Travis was a very talented tough hockey player, that brought smiles to his teammates and coaches. He always had something funny to tell you.
Please accept our condolences and prayers through this difficult time. May God bless and keep you.

Hockey games at Trinity, going to Six Flags in junior high, and his Blink 182 Halloween costume are just a few of all the wonderful memories that Travis's friends have of him. I remember when he could constantly be seen skating around the block with his hockey stick. He was talented in so many things and I will never forget how he always me laugh. Some of my most hilarious memories have Travis in them. I am praying for his family, especially you Tessa that God will bring you peace, knowing he is in a better place and making other people happy just like he did here.
