I just found out about Vicki's passing....Remembering her over the past 16 years.....She would have a laugh or smile.....for you.
She spoke her mind when she felt it was needed....not trying to hurt....but telling the other person what their comments or actions were doing to someone else.
She loved Stephanie and Lauren.....and gave them much to be grateful for.....lots of good memories! I am glad she will be keeping an eye on them from above!
Much love and hugs sent to the family!

Vickie's kind heart will be missed by many. She always had a kind word and constantly asked me how I was doing and if she could do anything for me or if I needed anything. It didn't matter what it was, she offered her home to me food, her time and most of all her love. I am so honered to have been touched by such a person like her and I know Wayne and Family will miss her. Thank you Vickie you touched my life more than you ever knew.

Seeing Vicki at the Sunshine Welcome table with Lauren all snuggled up to her always encouraged me to risk reaching out for a hug. She and Lauren encouraged me to try new things and laugh. I will miss her as will all who knew and loved her.

I knew Vicki in Brunssum Holland, where we attended AFCENT International High School together. What I remember the most about Vicki is her capacity to have fun, and her love for life. Because I was unable to attend, I missed the opportunity to visit with Vicki last summer during the reunion in San Antonio - I am sorry for that. As military brats, all to often we were forced to say good bye to someone we had come to know and care about. Time passes, we don't necessarily see one another, but that is not to say that Vicki did not come to mind, she did, bringing a smile, a fond memory, and curiosity, wondering what she was up to. I am saddened to say good bye her again. I wish Vicki's family well and I am sorry for your loss.

Vicki was a sweet, precious presence around Hope Church. She was a devoted helpmeet to her husband, Murphy, as they both served so faithfully. Even when she was busy, she took the time to inquire about how things were going in your life and to share her own joys and struggles. Her love for and gratitude to God was so visible. She will be greatly missed. My prayers and sympathy go out to Murphy and the rest of Vicki's family.

I have many fond memories of Vicki from Brunssum (later AFCENT) High School. We dated most of our junior year, and it was lot of fun. We lived 50 or so miles apart, so there were a lot of weekends when Vick stayed with my family in Simpelveld or I stayed with hers in Wildenrath. I remember her family fondly. Vicki still makes me laugh when I remember some of the funny things she said and did. I'm very glad to have had the chance to see her again at a high school reunion in San Antonio last June. She hadn't changed that much in terms of still being funny and vivacious. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Vicki was always such a help to me at Hope Church! Whenever I needed any kind of assistance, Vicki would jump in and help, even without my asking! She was always cheerful and friendly, even when doing chores! She was such a good example of living to give glory to God even in the smallest and largest of ways!

The last conversation I had with Vicki, she told me Joshua 1:9 - The Lord is with you wherever you go. I've never forgotten that. Vicki was genuine, good-hearted, a devoted wife and mom. Now, she is with her precious Lord in His presence. It is the day we all live for. And the Lord is with you---faithful Murphy and sweet Lauren...you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I will greatly miss Vicki's beautiful smile and quiet voice at Hope Church. She was one of those rare people that it was ok to be silent around and still feel comfortable. Vicki accepted you as you were and I admired that quality in her. May God grant a sweet comfort to her family as they celebrate her life and her heavenly homecoming.
