Virgil Lowe Obituary

Virgil "Buddy" Lowe, 60, a retired accountant, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, in Dallas.

Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials: Donations may be made in Virgil's name to Memorial Baptist Church of Grapevine.

Virgil was born May 23, 1943, in Orange. He grew up in Henderson and graduated from ETBU. He was CFO for Reliant Building Products until 1999, when he retired. He enjoyed collecting antiques, hunting and fishing. He was very vivacious. Virgil was a Baptist and a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He was a member of the Lions Club of Longview. Virgil was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Dosha Mae Lowe of Henderson.

Survivors: Wife, Bobby Lowe; daughters, Kristie and Angie; sisters, Doris Scott of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Barbara Baldwin of Longview; brother, Billy Lowe of Kemp; three nephews; three nieces; and a host of friends. Last, but not least, Virgil is also survived by faithful companions, Deacon, Ginger, and Spur.
