Vondal was born July 10, 1913, in Dierks, Ark. She was a former resident of Hurst, where she was a longtime member of Hurst Baptist Church. Vondal was preceded in death by husband, D.S. Ted Pitner, in 1997.
Survivors: Local niece, Marcia Bumgardner; local nephew, Charles Jacobs; and several other nieces, nephews and friends.
