Wade Whatley Obituary
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., with the Rev. Gary Gray officiating. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Whatley had been employed with the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD for 22 years. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and motorcycle riding. He was also an avid NASCR fan.
He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors: Wife, Cindy Whatley; mother, Bonnie Whatley of North Richland Hills; son, Michael Whatley of Hampton, Va.; daughter, Lauren Whatley of Hurst; stepchildren, Tyler Layman and Nikki Layman; brothers, Wayne Whatley of Parker County and William Whatley and wife, Lisa, of Granbury; nephew, Isaac Whatley; and many dear friends.

Wade will be truly missed by all. We met as work associates but soon became friends. I enjoyed going on our bike rides. I wish there could have been more. He will be in our prayers always.
