Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday in DeBerry Funeral Chapel. Burial: Valley View Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She was born Jan. 9, 1918, in Hood and graduated from Gainesville High School. Her husband, John Steadman, preceded her in death. They were members of the First United Methodist Church of Denton. Wanda was active in Ann's Haven Hospice and volunteered for Westgate Hospital.
Survivors: Daughters, Mira Main and Jeanie Steadman of Plano; sisters, Thelma Odom of Fort Worth, Pat Selby of Era; brothers, Thomas Gregory of Waco, Donald Gregory of Kerrville; and grandchild, Jennifer Porter.
