Wayne Moss Obituary
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Era Church of Christ, Cooke County, Mr. Ben Willingham officiating. Interment: Slidell Cemetery in Wise County. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Wayne was born Oct. 15, 1922, in Leo, Cooke County, to Bird and Bertha Burke Moss. He was raised in Slidell and graduated from Slidell High School. Wayne was a longtime resident of the old North Side in Fort Worth. He worked at General Dynamics for 38 years and Bell Helicopter for four years before he retired. Wayne moved to Rocky Ridge Ranch where he raised cattle and operated a weekend recreation ranch for motorcyclists and four-wheelers. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Margaret Elizabeth Rodden Moss, on June 7, 2009; sister, Carrie Lou Campbell; and brother, J.R. Moss.
Survivors: Son, Jimmy Moss and wife, Gina, of Arlington; sister-in-law, Faye Rodden; granddaughters, Julie Moss, Jana Moss Palacios and Addison Moss; grandson, Reagin Moss; and great-grandson, Sebastian Pollard.

I worked with Wayne at the "bomber plant" from 1963 to 1973. He taught me a lot about being a toolmaker. He will be missed by all of us who worked with him.

We cannot begin to imagine the grief you and Gina are going through. Losing three family members in one month seems almost unbearable to us. May you and Gina find strength through each other and peace by knowing they are all with God. God bless the entire Moss family.

Jimmy and Family.....I can only imagine how hard your Father's death is now with it only a very short time ago that you lost your lovely Mother. My condolenses and heartfelt sympathy goes to each of the family in this loss. Your consolation is that your Mother and Father are once again together with the Lord.
