I had the honor to meet Mr. Wes. For a year I was their caregiver. But in that year I became friends with the Badgeros', but they saw me as family. In the year that the lord gave me the opportunity to visit and laugh with Mr. Wes, my heart grew bigger everyday as I helped him with daily routines. I am more then great-full to have met this big loving guy that always welcomed you with open arms and a smile that you could not resist but smile back. My sympathies are with his family and loved ones. He will greatly be missed.

So sorry for your loss. Red always spoke fondly of him and always recalled Sheila's cutting her hair and trying to hide it with a cap...as all kids think they can do...but Wes knew something was amiss. Condolences to all of you. I know this is hard.

Martha,
I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet daddy. I know he was your hero. Wesley was always so welcoming and kind when I would come over. Whenever I'd see you post about him, I'd get a lil giggle and recall your parents watching 'The Wheel' and he'd always be so quick to answer. Your precious mother, Rosalee, would say, "Well Wesley! You're quicker than a whipper snapper!" Haha Good times!
May you and your family find the peace that God has also given Wesley, knowing he did great things here on this earth, raising such a beautiful family. May you also find comfort in the love the Lord is surrounding you all with at this sad time.
God Bless you all. (((HUGS)))
