Winnie Perdue Obituary

Winnie Irene Perdue, 90, a retired employee of J.C. Penney Co., died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, in Weatherford.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial: Dicey Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Galbreaith Pickard.

Winnie was born Oct. 10, 1912, in the Grindstone community in Parker County. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Lee Fowler; second husband, Benjamin Watson Perdue; sister, Edith Gandee; and brother, Robert Lee Graves.

Survivors: Daughter, Melba G. Riedel and husband, J.H. "Bud" Riedel of Weatherford; brother, Marvin Jack Graves of Crowley; grandchildren, Mike West, Edwin West, Cathy Howdeshell, David Keith West, Randy Riedel, Cindy Terry, Rick Riedel Sr., Danny Riedel, Rodney Riedel, Steve Riedel, Kenny Riedel and Becky Wiggs; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
