Happy Birthday

Monna Clayton

March 23, 2021

My dearest sister Elouise:
You are still missed by the Matthews and Dawes family members. You would be proud to know that Jalen graduated in 2020, the baby of the family Jaron will be a senior this coming year, Mik has a job on campus and is currently continuing to make you proud with finishing college in a couple of years, and Devyn will be finishing his studies in college with the next year. I remain in contact with your immediate family. They will always be great. Your brother Ken had his first child in 2020 while we were in the midst of a pandemic. Well I have said so much but just wanted to come home and share my thoughts. On the 27th of March will be 9 years. I can't believe that you are gone. I think about your crazy and fun personality all the time. You are still loved and truly missed dear sister. I love you always.

Hey,Mom. How it going, it been a while since I last talk to you so I thought it was a good Idea to talk. It been six years since you were gone, which is very surprising people it felt like it hasn't been that long ago. Finals for me in High School is coming up so i'm just studying. I'll be sure to make you proud by passing.

Elouise I have so much to say. Our family still can't believe that you are gone. Both the Matthews and Dawes families are still keeping in touch as you would want us too. The kids feel like Aunt Elouise is gone on a long trip. We miss you so much during the holidays. It still does not feel right, your presence is missed. Yes Mik and Devyn are doing great. And yes I make sure that I talk to them about what you and I discussed over the years. You did a great job with coaching them on how to live without you but you left so much wisdom behind so that they never forget what you instilled in them. I miss our family discussions and what we will do for the kids birthdays. The Matthews and Dawes family has continued to rally around the children. We make sure that you are celebrated every chance we get. We are all holding on the best we can. A year came so fast but it seems like yesterday that you went to be with the Lord. And to those who continue to remember our dearest family member Elouise, we thank you for your love. Rest in peace my sister! Love and miss you a lot.

Sonia, Hunter and the entire family;

I'm sorry to hear of the flower that was placed in the garden of our Lord and Savior. But you know, God had a particular spot saved just for your love one.

I pray for peace and understanding for your family. I pray that God will ease your pain and lessen your burden. Just know that Joy is waiting at the end of this storm. Be at peace and BE BLESSED.

Elouise gave freely of herself, with her smile, hugs, kind words, the healing touch of her hands, her vivacious personality. I am grateful to be one of the many people she touched with her generous spirit. So sad that she is no longer with us on earth~but I know she is now touching the face of God. She will continue to touch the lives of all who knew her through our sweet memories. I know God will continue to hold all of her family in his comforting arms.
