Dear Mary, Joe, and Ariel,
I was so sad to hear about Aaron's tragic death. I send you my deepest, heartfelt condolences. I was happy to have been one of Aaron's teachers. He was such a sweet little guy. He was always so responsible, respectful, and also he could be wild and crazy like most five-year-old's. He was so cute! I wish I could have known him through the years, but having read about his accomplishments, I feel as if I have a pretty good idea of his character and commitment to helping others. He had a very full life and accomplished so much! What a fine person! He is certainly your guardian angel now.
I know your heart is broken and you probably wish you would wake from what must seem like the worst possible nightmare. My prayers and love go out to all of you! Aaron is in your heart and mind forever, and I bet you can even feel his spirit beside you. He is certainly smiling from heaven on such a truly loving and wonderful family. He was blessed in life. You were blessed as well.

I enjoyed the beautiful poem written by Ariel, who is such a dear and special girl. Mary and Joe your tributes to Aaron were so lovely. I admire your eloquence. Your words were like a mirror into your special bond with Aaron. You had such a wonderful connection to your son.

Please take care. Take time to smile and carry on. Look to heaven, for you will see your beautiful son there, He is now and will always be smiling on you as he did in life. He would not want you to be sad and downtrodden. (I am going to get off my soapbox now.) I wish you much love and freedon from grief. If you ever need a friend to listen and to show how much she cares for you all, call me anytime. I am here for you!

Your friend,
Matty

I met Aaron at Bob Evans where he came to in to pick up his girl friend. We talked on several occasions and I was very glad to have met such a fine young gentleman. God needs angels and the great ones are needed most. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family in which I have never met but hope to some day. God Bless you.

I knew Aaron but not that well. We were in high school together, we went to the same class trip to boston together and even when he was a grouch he was still a good guy. I will always remember him w/ wild hair and a goofy smile on his face. He was too young, he had so much going for him and he will be missed, even if we wernt that great of friends.

To Joseph, Mary, Ariel and family. Our deepest sympathies. We had just recently pulled out a photo album and were looking through pictures of Ariel and Aaron when they were just little ones in their Easter and Christmas outfits. Such beautiful children. Aaron grew to be a fine young man. How could he not with such caring parents like yourselves. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
