Agnes Inez Reese, 89, went to heaven to be with our father, Lias Reese and the Lord, Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Our mother/grandmother was a strong woman that loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She is preceded in death by husband, Lias C. Reese; parents; six sisters and four brothers. Survived by loving daughters, Alice Price and Margaret Langston; devoted son, Ronald Reese; sister, Pearlie Cook Rogers; grandchildren, Sandra Langston, Marvin Price, Zala Langston and Bryant Price; great grandchildren, Niqua Langston, Tanesha Langston, Jeremiah Langston, Breanne Price, and Arianna Price. We love all our family and friends, and we want to ensure your safety. The funeral service is private due to the pandemic. Arrangements entrusted to DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St., where a Walk-Through Viewing will take place 1-2pm on Monday, January 18, 2021. All visitors are asked to wear an appropriate cloth face covering and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. A Celebration of Life Service will be streamed online to allow family and friends to honor Agnes together at a distance. At a later date and when it is safe to gather in a group, we will have a celebration of life of our mother Agnes Reese for all our family and friends. Thank you for your understanding.
