It was with great sadness that I read on the Internet of the passing of Al Diegler. I am his nephew, the son of his wife's sister. I have not been in the USA for a few years but I had always remained in touch via email with Uncle Al. I have many fond childhood memories of our family gatherings at Christmas and Thanksgiving. My sincerest condolences go to my Aunt Catherine, his daughter, Catherine Dorothy and other family members. Uncle Al was a great man and he will be missed by many.

I just recently met Albert and Katherine at the Convalarium. I had the honor and pleasure of reuniting them after their hospital stays. I got to spend time talking with them about how they met ,his military service, job and learned all about your family and everyone in the picture from this past Christmas. In my short time with them I learned about how much they loved each other and how proud they were of their famiy. You are all very blessed to have such wonderful parents, grandparents and great grandparents. I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers!! God Bless!!
