I wanted to offer my thoughts to Amy's family, especially her dad and mom, and her brother and sister-in-law. Amy was a great friend of mine, originally from when we both lived in Chicago. She was one of the smartest, most articulate, creative, caring and awesome people I have ever known. Amy used to talk with me about her family, and I always smiled when she told me how she'd discuss politics with her dad. I had told her she should be grateful that she can do that with a parent, regardless of whether they always agreed with each other's viewpoints. I can truly say to Terry, Kathy, Mike and Katie how much she loved and still loves all of you. When I learned of her passing, it was after the memorial, and I'm sorry I didn't get to offer sympathy in person. Knowing Amy, if she hasn't done so already, I believe she will find special, clever ways to reach out to her family over the coming time to let them know she's ok and she's watching over them. Much love.
So many fun times! xoxo

My heartfelt condolences to Amy's family - she loved all of you and spoke warmly of you. Amy was a dear friend to me while she lived here in Fort Myers. She made me laugh as very few people can. She was smart and sharp and hilarious. I always admired that she lived her life on her terms and stood tall during difficult times. She was a talented designer and had amazing taste and a keen eye for color. She will be missed in our industry as well as in our lives. RIP, dear Amy, and give Bennett a hug from all of us!
