Well Andre on tomorrow it will be one year that the lord said to you come home my good and faithful servant and you obeyed him.

Words cannot express how much i miss you and love you. It hurts so bad, but i know you are in a far better place, and you are with loved ones.

You will always be missed but never ever forgotten. So as we reach your year anniversary just know that i love you so much and we were blessed with a beautiful daughter that looks exactly like you.

I will do everything in my power to let her no about you and how much you would have loved being her dad.

To Audra & the Lamarr family,

Thank you for raising & sharing Andre with me & the boys & the rest of world. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your family, and getting to know Andre as if he was part of my family. Audra I will always be there for you and the girls. Love you guys so much. And I want to leave you with these words of comfort.

John 14:1-4

Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my fathers house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whiter I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Audra,
Remember Oakwood, I remember struggling with DeAndre and I remember the way Andre used to look out for him, even play with him when not many other children would. I was truly blessed to have your child living next door to me. Always respectful. What a blessing it must be to you to have given birth to such a kind and gentle soul. It really hurts to know that this type of pain is upon you, and your family. Your just about the strongest woman I've ever known. My deepest sympathies are with you and your family. Always

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest,
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
All the hills were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyes
And whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you But you didnt go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home

Our Prayer are with you and your family, You will be missed with your wonderful smile...Tray, Jay, Wuanie and Nea(cheeks)

It's always hard to see a young black man go home to be with God; even harder if that person is family. I love the fam and Andre is no different. Although I am unable to attend the memorial services my thoughts and prayers go out to all those whose lives have been touched by Andre.

God Bless

Dear Audra, Asia & Ashley,

I do not know what it's like to lose a child, so I can't imagine the pain that you may feel as his mother. However, I can relate to losing a brother at such a young age, being that I lost my brother-in-law when he was just 25 years old. The pain that each of you feel right now is tremendous I'm sure but, God will surely see you through this tough time. One thing that helps me is remembering the times that he made me smile and laugh. I know Andre left you with plenty of those memories so you hold them near and dear to your heart and soon you'll find that those tears of saddness will become smiles and laughter. To overcome anything takes time, just know that God is standing right there holding your hand every step of the way until you do overcome the hurt. We love you all and if there is anything I can do please know that you can call. Andre will truly be missed.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dearest Audra,

My heart goes out to you and your daughters during the loss of your son Andre. Every time I saw Andre downtown or at church he always greeted me with a hug. You were blessed to have him as your son.
