Anita Hope Lide, 61, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at her home in Westerville, OH. Anita was born on September 16, 1957 in Columbus to Harl J. and Margaret P. (Adkins) Garten. Anita is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lide, father Harl J. Garten and brother Harl R. Garten. She is survived by her children, Kristin Geiger, Amelia (Alyssa) Lide, Allison Lide and Casey (Jessyca) Lide; grandchildren, Magnolia and Nikolas Henderson-Lide; sisters, Sharon (Bub) Bowen, Sheila (Larry) Wallerstein and Mary (Hank) Kelly; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Anita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a good friend to all. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 9:30-10 am at East Columbus Community Church, 6926 Tussing Rd., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068, where a memorial service will begin at 10 am.
