I did not know that Anne has passed away. I worked with Anne at Battelle back in the 80's and 90's. She was a dedicated, smart, talented, wonderful person and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. She left this world way too early; someone must have really needed all her talents in heaven!

I had the pleasure of knowing Anne through my friendship with Bryan and Ginny White. It did not take me long to grow incredibly fond of Anne. Her infectious smile, warm words, welcoming demeanor, and kind heart always made me feel like one of the family when I was around. Your loss is a heavy burden. I have no doubt however that Anne is spreading her particular brand of magic all over heaven. God has one of his chosen ones back, and there's surely a party to be planned.

In 1978 one of my first jobs with Battelle was consolidating the Northwest income statements, which involved Anne providing the Seattle financial results. Anne had a quick sense of humor that made the job fun. She had a good natured wit and retort. What a wonderful person. We continued to work together on and off through the years. She had a strong love for her family. When I was in Columbus I always stopped by and was greeted warmly, with her smile, with affectionate news of her family and with her appreciation for co-workers. She always made you feel relaxed and welcomed. She is a fine example of hospitality and vibrancy to all of us.

I only met Anne once, but her big personality was memorable. I am a friend of her sister Elane. I know how much Anne was cherished in the family, and I know her sudden passing is a great loss. I am very sorry and wish you all well in this time of sorrow.

Jim and Christina -- I was so sorry to learn of Anne's passing from Mack McGetrick yesterday. Anne was an amazing person. I got to know her when we both worked at Battelle Seattle Research Center. Jim, I believe you were working for the Post Office. Anne was such an energetic person. She was working full time and attending college. I can still hear her laugh. My sympathy to both of you and the rest of her family.

My mom has worked for Anne for the past 25 years and I've had the pleasure of knowing her for most of my life. I know her department at Battelle shared a closeness of that of family and she will be deeply missed. Her humor and kindness will forever be remembered by her family and friends. She was always there to support our families and that will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this difficult time. Much love to Anne and her loved ones.

Mommy,
I love you, I miss you, I adore you and am sorry I was not here in time to say goodbye. I am so glad that you picked me, I would never have changed it for the world! I know you and Grandpa Jack are watching over all of us. You two try not to have too much fun, but until we are together again, enjoy the show and don't stop showing me how to be a better person! Thank you for everything.

Dear Broad and Vitullo families,
This is Ann Connor McKnight an old Army family friend of the Vitullo's. Actually, Elaine and I were friends and I just wanted to send my deepest sympathies to all of you. The loss of a sister, a mom and a daughter is great. But, reflecting back on the Vitullo family certainly brings a smile to my face. A beautiful family, your parents being great friends to my parents and magical years at Ft. Belvoir. You will all be in my prayers.
