TO my family, friends and neighbors, I want to thank you all for your kind words,condolences, and food. My husbands homecoming was beautiful, special thanks to the doctors, nurses, funeral home director Arlene,who helped comfort the family. Aunt Ruby & Family, my prayers and thoughts are with you during this time. Uncle Dil will be greatly missed he encouraged family closeness and it was thru his example that I learned to appreciate the importance of a close family. You know I love you guys and if you ever need me I'm here for you.

Hello Ruby, We were so sorry to hear about your loss. Know that our prayers and thoughts are with you. Dil left a great comfort for you. (your children). I will always remember him as Lonnie's Road Buddy also, whenever he had to get on the road he would alway call Dil, and we knew that Lonnie had someone that he could count on to make those long trips, I use to wonder "How could Dil listen to lonnie for 12 hours". But that's what good cousin's do for one another.

To my second family, My prayers and condolences go out to everyone in the family over this tragic lost. Mrs Cummings you have always been like a second mom to me since the days of Omar Drive. I love you and the family and will be praying for you all. I am so sorry that i cannot be there because of me starting a new job and living in Indiana now.

Hi Ruby, Kervin and the rest of the family so sorry to hear about your lost. I will always remember Dil as a kind and gentle person and a best cousin to Lonnie, I remember them always traveling together going home to Mississippi and Toledo, Dil was someone Lonnie could always depend on to hit the road with. To Aunt Ruby and family. You guys know that Uncle Dil was special to me and our family and he's gonna be sorely missed. He along with the other siblings made sure that our family stayed close and because of that you guys were like parents to us. So I feel like I not only lost an uncle but a father. I will never forget Uncle Dil and all that he has been to the Cummings family.
My prayer is that God comforts the family in this time of loss. I mourn in my flesh but I rejoice in my spirit because I know that Unc is in a far better place. And I'm thankful to have had such a good uncle.
Love you guys forever.
