Greetings, I'm sending my words of condonsence and prayers for all. How well I remember my "sorrow" after my mother's death. I know you must be experiencing great pain after the loss of your loved one. Hold on to all the memories you have and move forward and live a life of faith, because you also have the hope of seeing her again. Ardis is now singing in God's Heavenly Choir. To Dave, Loren, Brian and the entire Holt and Edmondson Family: On behalf of the entire Ohio University Student Senate Alumni Society we want to express our deepest sympathy at the passing of one of our founding members, Ardis Edmondson-Holt.
Personally Dave and Artis were longtime friends of mine going back over 30 years. We shared many laughs and experiences along the way. But most importantly Ardis (and Dave) taught us a long time ago that Love has no bounderies and that there is beauty in diversity.
We will all miss Adris but we are all happy and proud of the wonderful life she led and the great example she has set for her family, friends and all the world.

I'm truly sorry to hear about Ardis. She will be missed by myself and all the Riverside residents she helped with research projects.
She remained a constant joy to talk to when our paths would occasionally cross at the hospital.

I will miss my friend and classmate. Our time we spent in the DHA Program and being in the first cohort group will never be forgotten. To the Holt, Edmondson, and Nesbitt Family. The Creator took another individual to be with him and he chose a very good individual. She's with her family on the other side cancer free and not in pain any more. I loved Ardis and all she stood for. Ardis became a good friend during our time together at Ohio University. She was a vibrant soul, making an impact on everything and everyone she touched; she had a way of opening minds to new possibilities.
As I reflect on Ardis' life, I am struck by her many accomplishments that extended from her career to her family to her many friends. She packed a lot into 56 years. She will be missed.

I met Dave & Ardis at OU through Student Senate. She would often say, "I love my Dave"!. Brian & Lauren--your mom loved you with all of heart and would stand up to anyone if they treated you wrong. Ardis was a very generous person as her late mother Mary. I will cherish her memory and spirit of helping others, she paid it forward. Ardis and I go back to the days of Linmoor and Linden McKinley. We were cheerleaders together, and, were roommates during our first quarter at Ohio University. Ardis and I were close friends when I worked at Riverside, sadly we lost touch when I left to work at the James. She loved going out for dinner and drinks and sitting outside in the summer sun...she used to say to me, "this is our time, girl". We would laugh and talk for hours.
