Arno Cronheim Obituary

CRONHEIM Arno Cronheim, 82, died March 17, 2005 at home in Columbus. Preceded in death by his parents Fritz and Minna Cronheim, wife of 37 years, Harriet and beloved son Philip Fritz. Survived by son, George and partner, Mark Strasser; grandchildren, Nathan and Emma Cronheim–Strasser; and daughter-in-law, Elaine Cronheim. Arno was born August 28, 1922 in Berlin, Germany. He was a Holocaust Survivor and moved to the United States after the war. He earned a doctorate from the University of Illinois and taught mathematics at The Ohio State University for 27 years. No services, donations are preferred in lieu of flowers, to John J. Gerlach Center for Senior Health c/o Riverside Foundation, 3724 Olentangy River Rd., Suite G, Columbus, OH 43214.
