Barbara Ayers Obituary
The Right Rev. Mrs. Barbara J. Ayers, 82, wed the Late Bishop Samuel D. Ayers Jr., Ph.D., and bore Vanessa, Fatica, Samuel, Sonya, Sabrina, and Simone. Studied at OSU and Methesco Methodist Seminary, she dedicated her life to God serving as Overseer of Mission (Philippines), Pastor at EMPNP Church and Executive Director of the Cin-Thy-Care Community Service Center. She leaves to expand her light and mourn 5 children; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life Service Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Emmanuel Memorial P.N.P. Church, 2727 Bulen Ave. Viewing will begin 11am, followed by service at 12pm. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery. Professional Ministry of Comfort entrusted to WAYNE T. LEE FUNERAL SERVICE, 1370 East Main Street, Columbus, OH 43205, 614 253-7944.

My mom called her Mama Toooooo because of way she said B2 when calling bingo. She was such a light. Miss Cleo (my mama) has been gone since May 2004. A favorite time with my mom sharing time with Reverend Ayers and her family. RIP

My heart goes to the precious family. God bless and carry on the light.looking back at the years from first meeting Fatica at OSU to following all over the city bingo games. Its not the same. I felt like we were sitting in the family room playing. Funny warm kind always smiling. I lost my Mother in 2004 and she loved "Mama 2" as she called her. Rest in peace.
