Barbara and Dudley Patrick

Patrick Barbara and Dudley Patrick, husband and wife, passed away one day of each other. Dudley on September 27, 2016 and, Barbara on September 28, 2016. They are survived by their loving children, Brian, Kelly, Tina, Mark , Emile; and grandson, Aiden. Barbara Joyce was born on May 17, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to the late Robert and Helen Burns. Prior to becoming a stay at home mother, she served the community as an employee of Franklin County Children's Services. She was active in the church, regularly attending services and Bible study classes. Dudley was born on November 17, 1933 in Pea Ridge, West Virginia to the late Soloman and Betty Patrick. A veteran of the United States Army, he served during the Korean Conflict and had the distinction of guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Solider as a member of the Presidential Honor Guard. Dudley retired from the Columbus Public Schools as a School Teacher and Guidance Counselor. A service of memory will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Worthington United Methodist Church, 773 High Street in Worthington, where their family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to the time of service.
