Basil Butler Obituary

Butler Basil W. Butler, Jr., age 77 passed away November 4, 2016. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 21, 1939. Basil was a Systems Technician at Avaya Communications and retired in 2003 after 40 years of service. He loved fishing and boating, especially during his trips to Canada and watching golf, the Browns and the Buckeyes. He served in the Army proudly. Preceded in death by his mother Mary and father Basil. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara; sons, Brian (Joanna) and Nick (Maryellen); grandchildren, Giuliana, Emma, Annabel, and Colin; brother, Terry; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Duke and Nancy; many nieces; nephews; and special friends, Russ and Barb Taylor. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State St., Westerville. The Rev. Fr. David Gwinner celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Remembrances and condolences can be shared at www.HillFuneral.com
