SOLOMONIDES Betty J. Solomonides, age 81, Tuesday, September 26, 2006, Mt. Carmel Hospital West. Retired employee, State Auto Insurance Co. Register Nurse. Graduate, Grant Hospital School of Nursing. Preceded in death by husband Charles, parents Fred and Rachel Thornton, sister Mary Lou, brother Jack. Survived by brother, Tom Thornton; nieces and nephews, Michelle Ackerman, Michael Thornton, Mary Lou Clouse, Margaret Bush, Melissa Mason, Lou Ann Davis and Alene Mac; good friends, Mike Cianflona, Bill, Debbi and Sophi Yates, Jean Baker. Memorial service Friday 7 p.m. at SOUTHWICK-GOOD & FORTKAMP FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3100 N. High St. In lieu of flowers, contributions if desired may be made to The Humane Society of Delaware County, 4920 State Rt. 36/37 E., Delaware, OH 43015. www.southwickfuneral.com.

Many thoughts and prayers to the family of Betty who was a very special person to my whole family. Betty was my grandma's best friend for over 60 years and she was part of our family and a very special person who will be missed very much.
