Bill Patrick, 93, of Hilliard, formerly of New Boston, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 in Hilliard. He was born January 2, 1928 in New Boston, a son of the late Ernest and Opal (Perry) Patrick. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Medical Corp as a Dental Technician. Bill was the former owner of Portsmouth Dental Lab for over 50 years. He was a former member of Christ Community Church and began attending Northwest Bible Church after moving to Hilliard in 2004. He was an active member and loved to travel with the Shawnee State University Golden Bears for over 20 years. He was also an active member of the Hilliard Ray Patch YMCA Silver Sneakers, the Phyllis Ernest Hilliard Senior Center and enjoyed playing golf, baseball, fishing and camping with his family. Bill was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye basketball and football fan. Bill is survived by a daughter, Vicki Miller and husband, Craig of Hilliard; a brother, Ron Patrick and wife, Barbara of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Evan Miller of Salt Lake City, UT., Sabrina Patrick and Connor Patrick, both of Hilliard, Lona (Jim) Houpt of Dayton, Erin (Harry) Cardillo of Westerville, Ryan Pennington of Dayton; and his longtime companion, Myrtle Case of Hilliard. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Faye Evans Patrick, a son Jeff Patrick and a sister Edith Patrick. Visitation was from 11AM-1PM Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at D. W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with services following at 1PM. Pastor Rick Clark officiated. Interment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Military Graveside Rites by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Memorial donations may be made to the New Boston Alumni Association Inc., P.O.
