Bobby Johnston Obituary

Johnston Bobby Johnston, 60 of Sedalia, died Friday, January 1, 2016 in the James Cancer Hospital. Born March 30, 1955 in Fayette County; he was a son of Gayle E. and Patricia Ann (Seaburn) Johnston. Bobby had worked at Stanley Electric for the past 30 years, was president of Sedalia Town Council, past Mayor of Sedalia, a former volunteer and President of the Board Mt. Sterling EMS and was a former 4-H leader. Survivors include his children, Tyler Ross Johnston and Jill Ann "Jillymac" Johnston; grandson, Jasen Johnston; father, Gayle Johnston, brothers, Mark Johnston (Julie Evans) and Jeff (Debi) Johnston; nieces and nephews, Jackie, Derek, Josh, Ashley, Wyatt, Serenity and DJ; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Patty Johnston, sister-in-law Beverly Johnston, uncle Tom Johnston and nephew Jeromy Swyers. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London from 2-8 p.m. Thursday. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Sorry to hear of Bobby's passing.I worked with Bobby for 15 years at Stanley. We traveled to Japan together in the late 80's, I think it was 1989. He was a great guy I really liked him.
