Brenda Joyce Tackett, age 58, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 3, 2017. Employed by Nationwide insurance for 40 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Tackett. Survived by sons, Joshua Frazier and Jeremy Frazier (Brittny Sexton); grandchildren, Jayden, Jonah, Cara and expecting one; siblings, Shirley Mayle, Linda Malnati (Bill), Mike Tackett, John Tackett (Paula) and Vickie Riley (Pat); numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and her beloved dogs, Elvis, Roscoe, Otis, Ceasar and Daisy. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 7th from 5-8 pm at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL 1346 S. High Street where the funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 am. Pastor Guiles Richardson officiating. I worked with Brenda for 9 years in OCA at Nationwide.
I always enjoyed our chats where she'd tell me about her dogs' antics. She's share pictures of Tracker when she knew I was having a stressful day; she knew it would make me smile.
Brenda was special and I will miss her.

Brenda was an awesome friend and coworker. My fondest memories were when we would share stories about our dogs. Brenda was like a member of my own family and I will greatly miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with Brenda, and her family and friends.

Brenda was an amazing Nationwide associate and such a hard worker. She was a loving grandmother, and always so thoughtful about her grandchildren. We would always converse about children and raising them. We will miss her.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Brenda. I have such great memories of her growing up. She was such a good person. I feel blessed to have known her. I had recently talked to her about old times and we laughed and enjoyed catching up. She will truly be missed. My prayers go out to the entire Tackett family. I'm so sorry I can't be there with her family.

I'm sending up prayers for Brenda's precious family and adorable dogs. Brenda was very near to my heart. Not only did we work together at Nationwide but her mother and my mother stayed in the same nursing home. I frequently visited her mother which led us to warm conversations and memories. I'm sorry for the loss of Brenda. God has another angel.
